    Faculty and staff of the Lauderdale County Optional High School welcomed back students at the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year with this pretty table in the school’s foyer.

    Safety Inservice

     

    Lauderdale County School System’s Option High School recently completed a day of inservice focusing on safety.

    OHS faculty and staff wish to thank officers with the Ripley Police Department, members of the Ripley Fire Department and Jimmy Meeks from the Central Office who led the valuable training.

    The Tiger Pride of the Lauderdale County School System is apparent at the system’s Optional High School.

    Each day, students at Lauderdale County’s Optional High School are encouraged to reach for the stars.

    Here, a student in Mrs. Daphne Barbee’s class takes that lesson literally as he shows off a project on the planets.

    Bank of Ripley Mini Grants

     

    Educators at Lauderdale County Schools Optional High School were recently honored as recipients of mini grants from the Bank of Ripley.

     

    Mrs. Barbee and  Mr. Nelson each received funds for their classrooms. The grants were presented by State Rep. Craig Fitzhugh with the Bank of Ripley.

    Lauderdale County Optional High School educator Ollie Fields was recently presented a donation check from the Bank of Ripley for her classroom.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

     

    The students, faculty and staff of the Lauderdale County Optional High School extended wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to those entering the school during the month of November.

    This pretty table lifted the spirits of those entering the foyer of the school.
