• Students are responsible for paying tuition and purchasing textbooks for Dual Enrollment courses.

    Tuition

    Tuition information for each Dual Enrollment College is located below.

    All financial arrangements are strictly between the family and the colleges not the Lauderdale County Department of Education. 

    If the cost will prohibit your student from taking dual enrollment classes, please contact your guidance counselor via email to change your course requests as soon as possible. 

    Apply for Financial Aid

    1. Apply for the Tennessee Lottery Dual Enrollment Grant at the TSAC College Pays website. At the site click online application.

    2. A 25% fee discount is available for children of Tennessee State Employees and Tennessee Teachers upon completion of the proper form. These students should complete a fee discount application and turn it in to Donna Smith or the DL Lab.

    3. For Seniors with severe financial need, complete the Workforce Initiative Grant Application (paper) available in the Distance Learing labs or from Mrs. Donna Smith.

    Payment Plans

    DSCC Deferred Payment:

    Half down plus $10 deferred payment fee before classes start. 2 billings payment of ¼ and ¼. To participate in the deferred payment plan call the business office 731 286-3310 or go to your MY DSCC - Banner - Self Service -Student account online.

    UTM Tuition Deferment:

    Students may defer half of their tuition. Students pay half of tuition and a $30 deferment charge at the beginning of the semester, and the other half of the tuition is due by a later-specified date in the semester. It is the students' responsibility to pay the remainder of their tuition by the deadline.
