Meet Mrs. White

I was born and raised here in Ripley.  After high school, I attended The University of Memphis where I earned my B.S. in Education, graduating in December 2000.  I taught in Halls for one half year and have been here at LMS for 10 years.  I am highly qualified in science, my favorite subject, and I coached volleyball for 9 years. Now, I am the cheerleading coach for LMS.

I am married to Todd White and have 4 daughters: Riley-13, Reagan-9, Reese-5, and Rhett 3.  I attend First United Methodist Church in Ripley and enjoy arts and crafts, snow skiing in the winter and swimming on my summers off.

Science has always been my favorite subject and I always try to make it meaningful to my students, even if it is just their "second favorite".  Science is one of those subjects that is all around you, whether you notice it or not.  I really want to spark curiosity in all of my students, a curiosity that will cause them to investigate and discover new things long after they have left my classroom.
